​Laboratory and diagnostic tests during pregnancy provide your physician with information necessary to identify conditions that may affect the outcome of pregnancy. An overview of tests and services that are possible during your prenatal care is provided for you. Please be aware that some of the tests are necessary only in certain circumstances. Other laboratory and diagnostic tests may be ordered by your physician based upon your specific medical or pregnancy related problems. Your physician will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding prenatal testing.
