Nash OB-GYN is Still In-Network

Our practice is part of Unified Women’s Health of the Carolinas (UWH), and we are committed to providing exceptional care for our patients. Right now, we are still in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina.

Unified Women’s Health and BCBSNC are working to agree on a new contract. The contract details how providers are paid for the care they provide.

If Unified Women’s Health of the Carolinas and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina cannot reach an agreement, Nash OB-GYN may become out of network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina on January 1, 2027. 

Our goal is to keep caring for you without any changes to your coverage. Unified Women’s Health is working hard to reach an agreement and avoid any disruption in care. We will keep you informed if anything changes.

How You Can Help

If you have BCBSNC insurance, please call the member services number on the back of your insurance card.

Tell Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina that you want to: 

• Keep Unified Women’s Health of the Carolinas in-network and 

• Continue receiving care from your current provider at Nash OB-GYN without interruption.

Hearing directly from members can help BCBS-NC understand how important it is to keep local providers in their network.
 

If You Are Pregnant, Receiving Ongoing Treatment or Scheduled for Surgery 

You may qualify for Continuity of Care (COC). This program may allow you to keep seeing your current provider at your in-network benefit level for a limited time even if our network status changes.

We recommend contacting BCBSNC now to request information about Continuity of Care.

We hope you will take the time to call the number on the back of your insurance card and tell BCBS you want to please keep UWH of the Carolinas in network and explain to them that you want to remain in the care of your current provider at Nash OB-GYN Associates.
